First Presbyterian Church of Pearland will taking a hiatus from offering the Alpha course at the church this Spring. The course usually would begin at 6:45 pm each evening and would include dinner. After eating together, we view a video featuring the teachings of Nicky Gumble. Afterwards we discuss the teaching in small groups. Each session will end by 9:15 pm.
Alpha is a course in Christianity developed at Holy Trinity Brompton Church of England in London. (For more information check out the following link. ( www.alphana.org ). Alpha has also been found useful by both Christians and non-Christians.
