First Presbyterian Church of Pearland will celebrate holy week activities beginning with a Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 5 at 7 P.M. At this service we will remember Jesus's last Supper with his disciples, his arrest, trial and execution. We will do this through music, reading of the Word, a sermon, and the celebration of the Lord's Supper (which is open to all who trust Christ.) Remembering that Jesus also washed his disciples feet in a sign of service and humility, attendees will also have the opportunity to have someone wash their hands.
All worship is designed to glorify God. All worship should include prayer, praise, and reading and preaching /teaching of the Word. But the kinds of music and the time spent in praise can vary according to who we are and what we are used to. Since we are a diverse congregation, we offer four different Sunday worship opportunities
