| A note from our pastor: If you are seeking God, I want you to know that the Bible tells you that you can find him! But the Bible also says we all need to seek God whole-heartedly, not half-heartedly. We all know we are sometimes half-hearted in our seeking God, but that doesn’t mean we should stop searching. It only means we must ask God to make us desperate and hungry for him in our whole being. In order to find him, we need to ask him to make seeking him more important than anything else. Please read the two scriptures below: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” The verse above, Jeremiah 29:13 “Keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Jesus This verse, Luke 11:9 I also want to share with you a favorite quote of mine spoken by a seeker for God. Augustine lived 1600 years ago in North Africa in times much like our times. He was raised by a pagan Dad and a Christian mom, Monica, who never stopped praying for him, but to her sorow, he rejected the Christian faith and was very wild young man. Later, he came to the Lord after a series of events where he felt as if, in the midst of great pain and struggle, the Lord had spoken to his heart. He later wrote: “Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee." If you feel you are a seeker, no matter where you live, I'd be glad to recevie an email from you, and it would be a privilege to pray for you in your search for God.
